The youngsters of OM are still in the running in the World Club Championship hosted by the city of Marseille. After a defeat against Santos and a victory against the New England Revolution, they have to win against the Sahel Star to stay in the race and go through to the quarter finals. And it was a clean sweep! A brilliant 3-1 victory allows OM to qualify for the quarter-finals. With two goals and an assist, Nino is the man of the match. Everything was going well for him and the new coach, the stern and mysterious Pepe, seemed to trust him. At the end of the match, on the way to the dressing room, a team from the local press asked Nino a few questions. All of Marseille is interested in the youth world cup and talks about the youngsters. Nino admits that he is in good shape, that he has worked hard and that he is now better than before. But the next day at training, Nino's teammates are cold and distant. No one passes him the ball, everyone seems to ignore him. Pepe himself is rude to him, calling him "the starlet" and giving him extra exercises. Nino, confused by this attitude, soon understands what he is being accused of when one of his classmates hands him the newspaper. The headline reads: "Nino Fachetti: I am the best". The trouble is just beginning.
How will Nino get out of this mess and how will he cope with the pressure and make OM win?
